Rant #1,373: Bubbling Under

My very last post on the original Ranting and Raving Blog was about my current passion at the moment, collecting every Billboard Bubbling Under Chart song I could, in MP3 form, for the years 1964-1971.

Bubbling Under tunes are songs that didn't have, for whatever reason, enough gusto to make the Hot 100 singles charts, but has just enough to make these 101 and under charts that the magazine has run off and on for the past 60 years or so.

These Bubbling Under tunes were regional hits, were on small labels, or simply got up this high--not very high at all--due to the performer's name, like the song I need from Al Hirt, pictured here..

To date, I have collected about 2,100 of these tunes. Many of them I had in my own collection, others I had to go to our resources to find.

Well, I found just about all of them, some with the help of people I correspond with on the Internet.

But I am still left with a short list of tunes that I cannot find anywhere.

Here is the list, and if you can help, I would greatly appreciate it.

Please contact me through this blog site, and perhaps I can fulfill my quest, my passion, of the past few months.

Here is the list, and thanks again for at least reading the list and perhaps helping me out.

Hey, everyone need something to float their boat ...
