Rant #1,477: Easy On the Eyes

There are some beautiful women in the world, there really are.

Personally, my wife is the most beautiful woman in the world, both inside and out. She is truly the greatest.

And of course, there is my mother, who at 84 years of age, looks about 20 years younger than she really is. She is something else.

My sister is a beauty, too. Always was, and always will be.

And I cannot forget my daughter. I helped to create this lady, and she is a real knockout.

But although all these ladies are beautiful, they do not parade themselves across the Internet as such, showing off their womanly charms.

However, there are ladies who do this, evidently for a living, and they are becoming the pinups of the millennial generation, much like actresses like Betty Grable were for a different generation.

All that you have to do is go onto Facebook, and there is a constant parade of women who don't show you everything, but show you enough to get you, well, interested.

One of them is Denise Milani.

I was introduced to her by someone I know on Facebook, and while I have my doubts about, well, let's just say, the authenticity of her beauty, she does photograph well.

She puts pictures of herself up regularly, and while there is nothing pornographic about these photos, they do leave little to the imagination.

She is a pretty girl, no doubt about it, but I have a sneaking suspicion that at least some of that is man-made, whether under a surgeon's knife or via PhotoShop.

But whatever the case, her photos are there.

Oftentimes, she is petting her dog or maybe just walking down the street.

But when most women do this, they don't show about 90 percent of their cleavage to the world.

Milani does this.

Look, I am as much of a letch as the next guy, and I am not knocking Milani and the many other women who do this.

I guess this is how they make their living, much as Grable posed for all of those World War II photos to keep the boys focused on the job that had to be done.

Years later, there was Farrah Fawcett. That poster graced many male bedroom walls when I was a teen, but funny, personally, I never really liked her or her look. If anything, I preferred Jaclyn Smith.

Back to Milani ...

I am not knocking her at all, and I certainly don't mind seeing her photos--she never goes to the next level, which I guess you can applaud her for, because I am sure so many of these models do reach that next level, for whatever reason.

But you won't see her at the "the next level" on Facebook anyway, and yes, she has gone to that level, but you have to search for those photos.

Look, sex sells, we all know that.

But honestly, what she is selling, I really can't make out.

Sure, she is selling herself and her look, but beyond that, I guess if you have to parade around showing yourself off as if you were showing off your stamp collection, then you must have some type of ulterior motive.

But when I see her photos, I don't think of ulterior motives, and like most men, I just have to gawk at her like the next guy.

Such is life.
