Rant #1,441: Thug Culture

Now we hear from several sources that bail was posted for numerous rioters in both Ferguson, Mo., and in Baltimore, Md., by the Liz and Dick of the current time ...

Jay-Zee and Beyonce.

Yes, reports are that they bankrolled protesters in these hot spot areas with thousands of dollars in bail money.

And who is telling us this? A person close to the couple who has "facilitated" donations from them given to protesters directly.

According to this person, the couple never asked for anything in return and never asked for any publicity for their actions.

The person deleted her original tweets on Sunday morning where she made these pronouncements, but stands by what she said.

Look, this is America. Nobody is going to tell anyone how to spend their money, and they certainly won't be giving any advice to those who seemingly make millions of dollars every minute of every day.

But, you know what? Somebody should hit these two people on the head and ask them if they really knew who they were bankrolling by giving out their money.

Hundreds of arrests have been made at these two sites, the result of protests--both peaceful and not-so-peaceful--made when police officers were involved in fatalities with young, black men.

It is our right to protest in this country when we feel something is not right.

But it is not our right to vandalize, destroy and pillage, all in the name of protest.

So, consequently, if this report is true, the power couple might just have been bankrolling thugs who were looking for a reason to destroy their own neighborhoods, often destroying homes and businesses run by people of color, just like them.

How nice for the couple to be giving up their hard earned money for these nice people!

No, sorry, Jay-Zee and Beyonce are fools, because they are effectively bankrolling people who have nothing better to do than to destroy their own neighborhoods.

Look, there is no way to find out how the money was being directed, or two whom, but if this woman is to be believed--and no one has doubted her yet--people who have been arrested in the melees that have ensued are bailing themselves out with money given to them through this source.

Look, say what you want to about this power couple, but they did what they had to do to rise above the garbage that they grew up in, and have now become extremely wealthy, international pop stars of the highest magnitude.

To give money to thugs that only want to destroy, and are not interested in any justice, is really saying a lot about these two people, isn't it?

It is just about the same thing that happened 40 years ago, when actress Jane Fonda and other high profile Hollywood starts gave money to the Black Panthers and other terrorist organizations in a show of defiance against their own country.

Well, the last time I looked, Jay-Zee and Beyonce were born in this country, so they are doing about the same thing that Fonda did years ago.

Fonda has never lived her allegiances down to this day, and I think it is time that Jay-Zee and Beyonce are held to the same level of exasperation as Fonda is and was.

Why are they bankrolling people who simply want to destroy the country that allowed them to prosper as they have?

Do they even know who the money is going to? Is it being accounted for?

Who knows, but I wouldn't buy any of their recordings in the future. You might just be giving them more money to have people take down your own town.

And also, no matter how much these two have risen out of thuggery, sorry, for doing this, they are thugs, too, no better than the very people they are bankrolling.

Garbage paying for garbage. What more can I say?
