This morning is bad, real
bad.
I can’t see very much at all out of either one of my eyes.
I am basically typing this out on memory of where the keys are on the keyboard.
I could not read the newspaper at all, and I can barely see my computer screen.
I am a complete and total mess this morning, and that is after a decent weekend.
My family and I finally got into the pool this weekend, and we did it on Saturday.
Neither weekend day was really that great, to be honest with you, but Saturday was certainly better than Sunday was, so we went in.
The water was pretty cold, but once you were in, it didn’t feel that bad anymore … in fact, I was in the pool for more than three hours.
It felt great, it really did.
Yesterday, it looked like rain for much of the day, so we stayed out of the pool, and that leads up to today, where I really cannot see anything.
I think that if it would just rain a bit, I will be fine.
I have had these incidents before, and usually, after about two hours or so, I can see pretty well, but now, with this new normal I am living, it just makes things a bit scarier for me—will my eyes get back to being able to see in those two hours, or this just one of those days where I am totally useless eyesight wise?
I simply do not know at this point, but as I said, I am typing this out by memory, because I cannot see anything clearly at all, and that goes for both my eyes.
All of this is tied into my allergies, which have not been that great this year.
It has been a rainy and damp summer, and that hasn’t helped me at all.
There is a lot of pollen out there, and I can’t take ANY pollen at all, year-round.
So I guess today is a day that I am simply going to have to suffer, to get through, and tomorrow will be better.
I have to think that way, because if this was a daily occurrence, I would go mad, I really would.
But through everything, it really hasn’t been, and I have been able to do all the activities that I do, whether it is reading or driving or typing out this blog for as many weekdays as I have been able to do.
Better to have this happen to me today than on Wednesday.
I am going to give you head’s up, because on that day, I am going to have to take the day off from pretty much everything, as I have a few doctor’s appointments’ that day, including back to get my eyes checked, so I won’t be at my usual perch here that day.
Hopefully, I will be back on Thursday, but Wednesday is a pretty important day for me, so I won’t be here again.
Wednesday is Wednesday, and I will worry about it then.
Now is now, and I simply cannot see very much of anything.
So let me bid you adieu as I go to try and rest my eyes for the day.
Eye can’t … I mean … I can’t see a blessed thing, and I guess I just need to take it easy today, as much as I can.
Have a good day.
