What I Have Decided To Do

Thanks for visiting my new blog site.

This week has been such a disaster, but as I said, I am not going to let the spammers hinder my freedom of speech.

Anyway, after sleeping on it, what I have decided to do is really begin the blog on Monday, with all the material you expect from me on a weekly basis.

But as a bonus, with each new blog entry, I am going to include a "classic" entry, one of the more than 1,300 that I posted on the original Ranting and Raving blog.

And I will be going in order, so in other words, the first Rant on this new Ranting and Raving page will be No. 1,354, and along with it will be Rant No. 1 from May 2009.

And it will continue to go like that until everything is equaled out.

I might even post a few classics with each new entry; that is one thing I haven't decided on yet, nor about photos with the classic blogs, because as you can imagine, that can be a real pain in the tuckuss, since every classic blog has to be done individually; I just can't copy over everything wholesale.

So there it is. I hope you enjoy this new blog, but it won't be the least bit different from the original blog.

Yes, the format is a little different when you look at it--I prefer the other format, but I don't think it is available anymore--but both you and I are sure to get used to it.

Again, the spammers might have knocked me down, but they certainly did not knock me out.

The "electronic pen" is certainly more lethal than the "electronic sword," and this new blog is proof of that, once and for all.
