Rant #2,494: School's Out

Major problems here at the blog. Google has changed the format of its blogs,and it directly impacts this blog, because I am using an older computer and I am unable to upload the newest version of my browser to accommodate the features of this new format. I don't know what to do at this point in time. Do I continue to post here, using one of my computers that I can at least get in here and write with? I cant do that on my main computer anymore due to the format change. Do I look for another host? And if I do, what other host is going to allow me the flexibility that I have had here over the many years that I have been writing this blog? I am in major trouble; this new format has been pushed on users for the past few weeks, and previous to this, we were allowed to go back to the legacy version of the blog, but that capacity evidently ran out today. In fact, major changes were afoot yesterday, as I could not even get on the blog using my usual browser. I had to use an alternate browser that I use periodically, and although that worked yesterday, it won't work today--I tried but it was a no go. So here I am, in a fog about ehat to do. I guess that I am going to have to search for a new blog host, and it is really frustrating, because I was nearly done with my two posts a day mission, and yes, I was nearing the completion of getting all my blog posts from the first version of this blog and all the blog posts from the second version of this blog together on one site. That was a missiom I began a few years ago when the original Ranting and Raving blog site was hacked, and now, quite frankly, this situation is much, much worse. So please give me some time. There might be an interruption in the production of new blog posts while I search for a new blog host. Maybe I can work this thing out here, although I will have to type it out on an alternate computer that I have. Obtaining a new computer is completely out of the question, and yes, I have tried to download a new browser, but my computers are so old that it simply wont take. Yes, I am frustrated, and don't know what to do, but I will tell you, this is not the end of this blog. If I hace to do it entirely on Facebook, then I will, but I hope to have a stand alone site for the blog. So, please give me some time to work this out, and I will let you know what I come up with.
